MONTHLY MEETING

Join us for our next Monthly Members Meeting. We meet every 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 PM EST. Your voice matters! Being a part of the meeting is the best way to stay informed, discuss veterans' issues, and vote on the crucial decisions shaping our Post. Plus, showing up comes with perks! Come for the meeting, stay for the camaraderie, and enjoy exclusive member benefits, great company, and a chance to connect directly with your leadership team. Student Scholarships

Arrant‑Smith VFW Post 4127 invites local students to compete for major national scholarships. Located at 601 NE 2nd Road, Homestead, Florida 33033, the Veterans of Foreign Wars remains committed to patriotism, civic responsibility, and investing in the next generation. High school students with a passion for democracy can earn scholarships up to $35,000, and patriotic middle school students have the opportunity to win $5,000. If interested, please complete the forms below. For in‑person inquiries, visit the Post and ask for Harry Pillot, Past Commander and Youth Activities Committee Chair.

The Friendly Post

As yesterday’s defenders of freedom, the Veterans of Foreign Wars proudly opens its doors to today’s warriors, those who have served in America’s most recent and demanding conflicts. Whether your service took you to Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, the Horn of Africa, the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, global counterterrorism operations, or expeditionary peace‑keeping missions, you share the same unbreakable bond carried by generations before you.

Your courage, sacrifice, and resilience have strengthened our nation and safeguarded peace across the world. You are the continuation of a legacy that spans from our oldest combat veterans to the newest generation of post‑9/11 and post‑GWOT service members.

Arrant‑Smith VFW Post 4127

When you entrusted this leadership team to guide Arrant-Smith VFW Post 4127, we committed to T.R.U.E. Leadership "Transparency, Responsibility, Unity, and Efficiency. Part of transparency is laying out the facts: right now, a small core of about 10 dedicated members are paying out of pocket and carrying the entire workload to keep our doors open.


That model is not sustainable. "No One Does More For Veterans" but that mission belongs to all 400 of us, not just 10.


If every single member contributes just .25% of their effort, we completely transform this Post. It starts simple: commit to dropping by once a week and spending $10. Grab Taco Tuesday, play BINGO on Wednesday, or sit down for Thursday Steak Night. That small $10 weekly action directly secures our facility and fuels our operations.


Here is how we move forward together:

Post Pride & Swag: New official Post gear is currently on the way. Check in at the Post regularly as new inventory arrives so you can wear your support with pride.

Recruiting Challenge: $40 Canteen Voucher: Growth is survival. Every member is challenged to recruit 3 new members per fiscal quarter. To show our appreciation, you will receive a $40 Canteen Voucher for hitting this quota, with additional rewards coming for top recruiters.

Communication & Calendar Updates:

  • Official WhatsApp Channel: WhatsApp is now our primary real-time communication hub.

  • Google Calendar Notifications: Google Calendar invites for the Arrant-Smith VFW Group have been sent out. If you have not received your notification, email me directly at Cmd@vfw4127.org so we can get you connected.


We have launched streamlined Google Forms to make officer and House Committee communication simple, transparent, and direct:

 

We need immediate volunteer commitments to support the upcoming Freedom Walk. Step up, fill out the Volunteer Form, and help us represent Post 4127 in the community.


Our Post Voice matters, and every 3rd Monday of the month is our General Membership Meeting. I expect you to be there, stand up, and make the motions you believe are best for our Post and our mission. This is your Post...come shape its future.


We are rebuilding this Post into a home we can all be proud of, but it takes the entire team. Show up, get involved, and lets carry this mission together.

We work to strengthen comradeship among local veterans of every generation; to assist those facing hardship; to honor the memory of our fallen; and to support their surviving families with dignity and compassion.

We uphold true allegiance to the United States, its Constitution, and the freedoms we defended on battlefields across the world. We foster patriotism within our community, preserve the history of service in Homestead, and stand ready to defend the principles of American freedom.

Rooted in the heritage of Homestead’s military community from Homestead Air Reserve Base to the veterans who call this city home. We remain dedicated to ensuring that every veteran is seen, supported, and never forgotten.
